We are moving:

This Island Project School is moving to new premises. We are moving to Diddington Hall, Meriden in the Spring Term 2010. It is a fantastic building with beautiful grounds. In the new premises we will be able to teach pupils from from age 6 to 19. The children will have access to outdoor space, sensory rooms, play areas, therapy rooms, IT suites, common rooms, tuck shops etc as well as functional learning facilities for the older children.

We now have 7 children at the school, all taught on a one to one basis. These children have made fantastic progress in the short time they have been with us, thanks to our hardworking and dedicated staff. In October we were inspected by Ofsted and were 'outstanding' in many areas. Its hard to believe that the school has only be open for just over a year - so much has been achieved.

Job Vacancies:

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Qualified Teacher (Part-Time - mornings) - must have Key Stage 1 and 2 experience and have a desire to work with children with challenging behaviours.

Tutor - (Full-Time) - must have experience of working with children with autism and be experienced in ABA.
