Fundraising for The Island Project

Family Fun Day

Many thanks to everyone who came along to our Family Fun Day on Saturday 19th September - or who supported us in any way. It was a fantastic day - the glorious September sunshine was an added bonus! Everyone who attended had a wonderful day in the grounds of our new premises at Diddington Hall, Meriden.

We raised £1895 - well done to everyone!

Special thanks to TV Celebrity Alison Hammond who spent the afternoon with us and gave out some special awards to people who have gone the extra mile for the project. Please see the Gallery for photos.

Bonfire Party

The Round Table recently organised a Bonfire Party in Balsall Common to raise funds for the Island Project the event was a huge success and we thank the Round table and everyone who attended for supporting the event.

Please check this page and the News page frequently to view other upcoming events. All activities and events are corganised to raise funds for our school and the students and families we serve.

Do you have any toys, dvds, games that you no longer require. Please let us know - all donations are welcome. Have a spare Printer?, a box of Office Paper?, anything we will use in the day to day running of the school helps with the costs. We can collect so no need to lift a finger . . .well, lift the ones to type us a message and we'll be there.

Monetary donations are always welcome and received with much thanks. If you would like to organise a fund raising event for the school we are always grateful and able to assist.

Volunteering - If you are able to offer us your time to volunteer at the school please contact us. There are many areas you could help...creating PECS (a valuable communication tool for the children), cleaning, gardening, fund raising etc. If you have an hour, several hours, or even  a day to spare a week or a month please contact Tracey Wilkins - us we are grateful for all help received.

We also have a group on Facebook called 'Friends of The Island Project'. If you join we can keep you updated on whats happening at the Island Project.

Please spare a few minutes to watch this video clip to see why we set up the Island Project:
